Mary Lee Mitchell

Ms. Mary Lee Mitchell, 88, of 663 Wade Road, Scotland Neck, NC, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service has been scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Pastor W.C. Bowser will deliver the word of comfort. The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, formerly Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

She leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Madrie Wilkins; her loving sister, Dorothy Mae Robinson; two devoted cousins, Jean Powell & Marge McGee; her niece, Sheila Jules & nephew, Reggie Robinson which she claims as her own children; three loving cousins, Shirley Singleton, Robert Powell & Jasper Powell; her godchildren, Annetta Thomas, Charese Robinson & Rev. Matthew Lee; four sisters-in-law, Deloris Green, Jean Mitchell, Eunice Mae Adkinson, and Catherine Mitchell; special recognition to Dennis Barnes, Evelyn Barnes, Jackie Samuels & Glenda Kay Conway and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends. Also, she was preceded in death by one brother Arsell Barnes.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
