Ms. Mary Helen Harper Hicks, 100, of Wilson, NC transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, January 26, 2026 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

Her funeral service is scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026 at 12 noon at First Baptist Church, 108 S. Baker Street, Eureka, NC.  Rev. Fred Presley will officiate and burial will follow in Broadhurst Cemetery, 3377 Indian Springs Rd., Seven Springs, NC.

The public viewing is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
