Ms. Mary Francis Cooper, 83,  of 202 Bruton  Street, Wilson, NC passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC.

The  funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through is scheduled for Friday, April 2, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Jessie Blue and Frank Cooper Sr.; one son, Gary “Rock” Cooper; three brothers, Frank Cooper Jr., Donnell Coleman, and Thurman “Tic” Blue; and three sisters, Inell Coleman, Earline Barnes, and Betty Best. 

Left on this earthly shore to cherish Mary’s memory are: four children, Tony Cooper, Terry Cooper, Denni Cooper, and Janet Delores Manuel (Charles); five grandchildren, Brandon Cooper, Tony Cooper, Mercedes Manuel, Martin Antwon Cooper, and Garry Unique Cooper; four great-grandchildren, Maliyah Manuel, Harmoe’nee Mack-Cooper, Lamarcus Strickland Jr., and Gabrielle Williams; two “adopted daughters”, Mary Amber Cooper and Jessica Nicole Cooper, four sisters, Christine Ellis, Lula Bynum (Jack), Brenda Cooper, and Shirley Cooper; one brother, Christopher Cooper; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, North Carolina, 27893.
