I PRAISE GOD FOR BROTHER MARVIN JONES WHO HELP TO ESTABLISH THE PATHWAY FOR PAID FIREFIGHTERS WITH THE WILSON FIRE DEPARTMENT.BROTHER MARVIN SERVED AS AN VOLUNTEER FOR YEARS BEFORE THE FIRST BLACK FIREFIGHTERS WERE HIRED FULL TIME.HIM AND OTHERS HELP TO ENSURE MY 40 PLUS YEARS IN THE FIRE SERVICE.

I was saddened to hear of Mr. Marvin Jones' death on yesterday. The Jones family is very dear to me and I won't begin to list the names of each of you, however I do wish each of you peace in knowing that Mr. Jones is now with his Father. I am here for the family and will do "ANYTHING" I possibly can to make this difficult time easier for you, just say the word. Letting go of a loved one is always hard, but his eternal home is forever and hopefully you all will meet again in the distant future.
