Ms. Margestine "Tine" J. Joyner, 84, of 305 Marcella Road, Hampton, VA, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Coliseum Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center, Hampton, VA.
The funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Pastor Herbert Joyner will deliver the word of comfort. The burial will follow in Williams Chapel Church Cemetery, 6154 Williams Chapel Church Road, Elm City, NC.
A public walk-through is also scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service in the chapel of Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Tine was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Joyner Sr; her son, James Curtis Joyner Jr; her daughter, Annette Joyner; Her parents, Howard and Bluma Joyner; her brothers, Howard Joyner Jr; her sisters, Audrey Petway, Martha Jean Isom, Queen Anne Joyner, Willior Marian Parker, and Iris Hairston.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her daughters, Bettie Berry of Newport News, VA and Adrienne Joyner of Hampton, VA; and her grandson, Donavon Berry of Newport News, VA, her sister, Brenda (Willie) Vick of West Orange, NJ; a dear sister/cousin, Myrtle Joyner and brother/cousin, William Joyner Jr, along with a great host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
