Mr. Linwood Dublin, 56, of 102 East Dickerson Street, Fremont, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at UNC Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, NC.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Stevens Funeral Home, located at 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC. Due to the requirements of the Governor's Executive Order regarding the number of people in a funeral service, the funeral service will be private.
A public walk-through is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Preceding him in death were: his father, Leonard Dublin; two brothers, Maurice Dublin and Leonard Dublin, Jr.; one sister, Brenda Dublin and one brother-in-law, Gene Ford.
His loving heart will forever be cherished by: his loving wife, Joann Ford Dublin of the home; his children, Linwood R. Dublin, Charnelle D. Dublin, and Justin Dublin all of the home, Jemel Dublin (Monecia), Tasha Strayhorne, Lynwood Strayhorne (Ashley), Candace Dixon and Sharay Haskins, all of Wilson, NC; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Annie Lou Sherrod; five sisters, Sandra Alston (James), Loretta Moore (Earl), Janice Lacey (Gary), Princess Dublin (Stanley), all of Wilson, NC and Carolyn Dublin of Norfolk, VA; five brothers, Michael Moore, Dexter Dublin, Dwight Dublin, Vincent Dublin, (Val) and James Johnson, all of Wilson, NC; one sister-in-law, Althea Robinson (George) of Oxon Hill, MD; three brothers-in -law, Charles Ford of Fremont, NC Ronald Ford (Edna) and Tim Ford (Ruby) both od Wilson, NC; four aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends, including MinisterStanley Best and DFeacon James Robinson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC.
