Lillie Ruth Anderson

Mrs. Lillie Ruth Anderson, 68, of 1702 Norwood Drive, Wilson, North Carolina passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Wilson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 1705 S. Tarboro Street, Wilson, NC.

The graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.  Pastor Denise Riley will officiate. 

A public walk-through is scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Adams, Sr. and Lillie Mae Brown Adams and one sister, Carolyn Jean Livingston.

She leaves many loving and cherished memories to:  her husband, Joe Anderson, Jr. of the home; one son, Kevin L. Adams (friend, Amy) of Smithfield; two daughters, Bridgette Carroll of the home and Shaute Anderson (friend, Daniel) of Wilson; eight grandchildren, Keanna, Artmus, Kevin, Jr., Alexis, Julian, Camiel, Akira and Mya; two great grandchildren; one brother, Willie Adams, Jr. of Wilson; three sisters-in-law, Brenda Barnes of Wilson, Lorraine Best of Saratoga and Carolyn Jones (James) of Virginia; three brothers-in-law, Melvin Douglas Anderson and Kenneth Anderson (Joyce), both of Wilson and Michael Anderson (Deborah) of Elm City; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
