Kimberly Anne Kelly Obituary

Ms. Kimberly Anne Kelly, 47, of Wilson, NC, and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

All services will be private.

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, she remained connected to her roots while building a community in Wilson. Kim was creative, spirited, and charismatic. She always enjoyed camping, board games, and arts and crafts. Kim’s favorite holiday was Halloween. Kim had a strong affinity for animals and was never without a faithful pet, usually a dog. She had countless furry and non-furry companions over the years.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Kelly and her brother, Patrick Sommer. 

She is survived by her loving and supportive mother, Mary Anne Kelly (Karen); her sister, Christine Corrigan (Dan); and two nephews.  Kim also leaves behind a wide circle of friends and family in both Wilson and Philadelphia.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
