Mr. Joseph Edgar Evans, 68, of Wilson, North Carolina, transitioned from labor to reward on June 16, 2026, at Wilson Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at L.N. Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

The family will receive relatives and friends at 1405 Mercer Road, Walstonburg, NC.
