Jonah Bynum, Jr.

Mr. Jonah Bynum, Jr., 67, of 1309 Dixon Court, Wilson, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.

The funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at L.N. Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through is scheduled for Friday, March 5, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr, Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding Jonah in death were: his parents, Beatrice Sauls Bynum and Jonah Bynum, Sr.; three sisters, Jessie Lee Bynum, Joyce Ann Bynum, and Rosa Mae Cox and two brothers, King Lewis Bynum and Jimmie Lee Bynum.

Jonah will forever be remembered by his loving wife, Yong Bynum of the home; his daughter, Angella Bynum; his son, Jonah Bynum, III; two grandsons, Christian Bynum and CJ Bynum; three sisters, Shirley Ann Meade, Mildred Campbell, and Betty Lou Barnes (Eugene); a host of nieces, including a special niece, Willie Mae Myles, nephews, including special nephews, Curtis Bynum, Tyrone Cox, Arnold Bynum, and Curtis Turner, cousins, and many loving friends, including special friends, Grady Dawson and AJ Wilkins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
