Mr. Johnnie E. Whitley, 72, of Winterville, NC passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at ECU Health Medical Center, Greenville, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John Apostolic Holiness Church, 5449 Central Road, Black Creek 28501.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 3:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway Wilson, NC.
