The funeral service is scheduled for Monday January 24, 2022, 2:00pm at Evening Light Holiness Church, 208 S. Pender Street, Wilson, NC. A public walkthrough is scheduled for Monday, January 24, 2022 from 12:00pm to 1:45pm also at Evening Light Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Bishop LN Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.
Preceding him in death by his parents: Clinton Taylor and Bettie Ruffin Taylor; one brother, Billy Ray Taylor .

Cherished memories are left to: one daughter, Teosha Taylor of Norfolk, VA; three sons, Reginald “Reggie” Best (Shinah) of Roanoke Rapids, Brandon Taylor of Wilson, NC and Jimilio Taylor of Greensboro, NC; nineteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; six brothers, Clinton “Big Boy” Taylor of the home, James “Bro” Taylor, Nathaniel “Andy” Taylor, James Artis, Edgar “Oop” Taylor (Pam) and Ronnie Taylor all of Wilson, NC; one stepbrother, Dejon Artis of Wilson, NC; two stepsisters, Tonnette Artis of Greensboro, NC and Carol Harris of Wilson, NC; five aunts, Hilda Mayo of Walstonburg, NC, Sandra Merritt (Ted), Madie “Shug” Ruffin both of Black Creek, NC, Pauline Artis (Zeb) of Bronx, NY and Mary White of Walstonburg, NC; two uncles, Roosevelt Ruffin of Kenly, NC and Dan Ruffin of San Diego, CA; a host of nieces including two special nieces, Keshanda Taylor and Shironda Taylor, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends including a special friend, Amy Shepard.
