Mr. Jessie Junior Thompson, 72, of Wilson, NC passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at UNC Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, December 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Temple United Holy Church, 402 Minchew Street, SE, Wilson, NC.  Pastor Magarick Worsley will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with an inspiration wake from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.

At other times, family and friends will be received at the home of his sister, Lauranita Glenn, 409 Banks Street, Wilson, NC and will assemble there on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 12 noon for the funeral procession.
