Mr. Jesse Barnes, 83, of 314 Freeman Street, SE, Wilson, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  The public viewing is scheduled for Wednesday prior to the funeral from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.  At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence and will also assemble there at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday in preparation for the funeral procession.
