Janis Winstead Obituary

Ms. Janis Winstead, 78, of Wilson, North Carolina, passed away on June 19, 2026, at her home.

A Celebration of Her Life and Legacy will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public book signing will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
