Mrs. Janie Farmer 74, of 1224 Robert Road West, Wilson, NC, passed away, Saturday, November 20, 2021, at her home.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Flat Rock Church of Christ, 6730 Flat Rock Rd., Sims, NC. The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC. Pastor Donald Loftin will deliver the Eulogy.

The public visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 26, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.

Mrs. Janie Farmer leaves many cherished and loving memories to:  her husband, Wiley Farmer, Jr. of the home; one son, Guy Farmer of Raleigh, NC; one daughter, Tara Pugh of Rocky Mount, NC; five grandchildren, Deonte Farmer, whom she reared, Paris Farmer, Tyler Pugh, Makayla Batts and Ebony Pugh; six great grandchildren, Leilani Farmer, Kylah Hill, Jailyn Darden, Nicholas Pugh-Lowery, Taylor Lowery and Kennedy Lowery; five sisters, Josephine S. Mitchell of Wilson, NC, Elsie Pearl Warren of Macon, GA, JoAnn Newsome (Elmer) of Lucama, NC, Nannie Fields (Lenwood) of Sims, NC and Geraldine Williams (Curtis) of Bailey, NC; one brother, Lonnie Earl Joyner (Patricia) of Kenly, NC; one god-daughter, Angel Holloway; three adoptive grandchildren, Brianna Horne, Tattyana Horne and Jah'lyah Campbell; three sisters-in-law, Helen Farmer Carr, Doris Farmer and Della Farmer Easton (Art), all of Wilson, NC; one brother-in-law, Larry Farmer (Benita) of Wilson; her caregiver, Doris Pickett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
