Janice Fae Batts

Ms. Janice F. Batts, 63, of 620 Cemetery Street, Wilson, NC, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2020, 2:00 p.m., Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street, Wilson, NC. The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

A book signing is scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Janice was preceded in death by: her parents, Abraham “Bud” Batts and Della Mae Batts; four brothers, Billy Ray, Robert, Abraham and Carlester.

Janice leaves to remember loving memories to: five sisters, Josephine Robinson, Helen Jackson (Leonard), Inez Grant (Willie), Dorothy Batts (Tempest) and Brenda Washington (Wayne), all of Wilson, NC; three brothers, Charles Williams of Baltimore, MD, Percy Batts (Elizabeth) and Alfred Batts (Wanda), both of Wilson, NC; one sister-in-law, Alice Locus of Wilson, NC; three aunts, Dazell Pearson, Clara Simms, Helen Batts, all of Wilson, NC; one god-sister, Marsha Thompson of Wilson, NC; an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many many loving friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
