James Sylvester Watson

Mr. James Sylvester Watson, 68, of 154 Lendon Lane, Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at his residence.

The funeral has been scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

The public visitation will be Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. also at Stevens Funeral Home.

Preceding him in death were: his parents, James Watson and Inez Armwood Watson.

Left to cherish fond memories are: one son, James Cornelius “Skip” Watson (Stacey) of Lawrenceville, GA; one daughter, Shannon Watson of Philadelphia, PA; step-son, Travis High (Stephon) of Wilson, NC; seven grandchildren, Sade’ Watson Parker Yescas (Luis), Izreal McDonald, Jayden Watson, Damari Watson , T.J. High, Jr., Jamie Amiah Watson, and James Christian Watson “Lil Skip”; one great grandchild, Liana Yescas; one sister, Brenda Watson Avery; two nephews, Cameron Avery and Alex Avery; a special cousin, Bernard Armwood (Ethel) of Wilson, NC; and a host of other close and distant family and friends all over the country.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
