James Earl Melton

Mr. James Earl Melton, 65, of Bronx, NY, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021, at his home in Bronx, NY.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Ebenezer Apostolic Holiness Church, 103 E. Kelly Street, Mt. Olive, NC. Elder Christopher Roberts will deliver the Eulogy and burial will follow in Carver Cemetery, S. Breazeale Ave, Mt Olive, NC. 

The public walk-through visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 28, 2021, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC and from 10:00 to 10:45 on Saturday at Ebenezer Apostolic Holiness Church, 103 E. Kelly Street, Mt. Olive, NC.

James Earl was preceded in death by his mother, Della Catherine Melton Hart.

He leaves loving and cherished memories to:  his father, John Hart, Sr. of Mt. Olive, NC; three sisters, Deborah Hart of North Charleston, SC, Cathy Hart and Wendy Montague, both of Mt. Olive, NC; one brother, John Glen Hart and his wife, Teresa, of Mt. Olive, NC; six nephews, Kevin Carter, Devin Carter, Jonathon Hart, Tonio Montague, Christopher Hart-Williams and Jontavius Hart; one niece, Crystal Hart-Williams; one goddaughter, Kayla Sade Faison and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
