Henry Thomas Knight, Sr.

Mr. Henry Knight, 75, of 5035  Heaths Glenn Road, Wilson, NC, passed away on August 14, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, 2019, 1:00 PM at First Missionary Baptist Church, 6211 E. Langley Rd, Elm City, NC.  Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.  Pastor Mark Johnson will deliver the eulogy.

Preceding Henry in death are:  his mother, Hazel Knight Parker; three sisters, Phyllis P. Jackson, Tonya Faye Parker and Theresa Gail Parker and one brother, Irvin Eugene Parker.

Left to cherish fond memories of Henry are: his wife, Barbara Dixon Knight of the home; three sons, Henry Thomas Knight, Jr. of Wilson, NC, Mark Aaron Knight of the home and Brad Thomas Knight of Raleigh, NC; one daughter, Tina Jessica Knight of Wilson, NC; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Gloria Pender of Maryland and Angela P. Johnson (Russell) of Wilson, NC; mother-in-law, Beatrice Dixon Thomas; one sister-in-law, Hildegard Swinney; two brothers-in-law, Roney Dixon and William Ray Dixon; two very special people, who were like aunts to him, Inez Rountree (Jesse) and Dorothy Braswell; a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
