Mr. Henry "Goodman" Smith, 93, of Wilson, NC passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC.


The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  Pastor Patricia Smith Peterson will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.


The public visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.  At other times, the family will receive friends at 2302 Chelsea Drive, NW, Wilson, and will also meet there on Friday at 12 noon in preparation for the funeral procession.


Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
