Helen Mae Philpot

Ms. Helen Mae Philpot, 98, of La Grange, North Carolina, transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

A celebration of her life and legacy will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 12:00 noon at St. Matthew Free Will Baptist Church, 2758 Jenny Lind Road, La Grange, North Carolina.  Pastor Chris Roberts will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 4488 West Vernon Avenue, Kinston, North Carolina.

A public visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the church. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church for the visitation and service.
