Haywood Ellis, Jr.

Mr. Haywood Ellis Jr., 76, of 402 Gold Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2020, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.  

Due to the requirements under the Governor's Executive Order regarding the number of persons allowed in a funeral service, the family has scheduled a private funeral service for immediate family only. 

Haywood was preceded in death by: three sisters, Ella Webb, Elanor Finch, and Mary Ida Hough; four brothers, Charlie Locus, Olis: Locus, Mervis Locus, and Amos Locus.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by: his daughters, Kemi Ellis, Raysheeda Ray: two sons, Tyran Taylor and Jemel Ray: seven grandchildren, Joshua, Janiah, Londynn, Lyric, Bryson, Rayhem, Kater: one sister, Shirley Ellis, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
