Gloria Woodard Haskins Burks

The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Gloria Woodard Haskins Burks, 86 of 2307 Fitch Drive E., Wilson, NC will be Saturday, May 30, 2020, 1:00 pm at Wilson Chapel F.W.B. Church, 513 Barnes Street, Wilson, NC.  The Committal Service will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery.

A public visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.

Preceding Gloria in death were: one daughter, Gloria Burks; her parents, Moses and Minnie Haskins, and one sister, Doris H. Jones.

She leaves to cherish: her memories, a daughter, Valencia Hill (John) of Wilson, NC.; three sons, Anthony Arnold (Stephanie) of Raleigh, N.C., Baron Keith (Monique), and Carlos Devon (Sheryl) of Wilson, N.C.; one niece, Evelyn Carol Jones of Wilson, N.C.; her loving grandchildren, Ursula Nichole Nicholson (Jesse) of Wilson, N.C., Vincent Lamont Burks (Natarsha) of Austell Georgia, Carlos Burks Jr. of Wilson, N.C., Tahwana Burks of Cary, N.C., Antwan Burks (Maewanda) of Upper Marlboro Maryland, Anthony Carrington of Durham, NC, Natasha, Essence, Chloe, Kiara and Milton Bynum Junior all of Wilson, N.C. and host of great-grand-children, cousins and friends.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, located at 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Parkway, NC.
