Ms. Gloria Jean Powell, 60, of Bailey, NC passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Nash UNC Health Center of Rocky Mount, NC.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries, 1006 E. Academy Street, Wilson, NC. Pastor Dameion Royal will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Wilson, NC.  The family is receiving friends at 509 Bruton Street, Wilson, and will assemble there at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in preparation for the processional.
