Ms. Gladys Pate Sanders, 97, of 2412 Womble St., Wilson, NC, transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, August 16, 2024, at her home.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop LN Forbes Street, Wilson, North Carolina. Bishop Arinzor Blue will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Wilson, North Carolina.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home and an inspiration wake from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Leventon Chapel OFWB Church, 6839 Speights Bridge Road, Stantonsburg, North Carolina.  The family is receiving friends at the residence and will assemble there at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in preparation for the funeral procession.
