Geraldine Bynum

Mrs. Geraldine Bynum, 66, of 308 Singletary Street, Wilson, NC passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center of Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC. Dr. Amanda Jones will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through is scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mrs. Bynum was preceded in death by:  her parents, Marvin Bunch and Penny Locus Bunch; two sisters, Edith Bunch and Judy Gray Cox; and three brothers, Theodore Bunch, James Bunch and Robert Bunch.

She leaves a legacy of love and devotion to:  her husband, Larry D. Bynum of the home; one son, Larry D. Bynum, Jr. (Shan) of Wilson; two daughters, Lorie Bond (Joseph) and Nekia Rouse (Timothy), all of Wilson, NC; five grandchildren, Seth Bynum of Virginia Beach, VA, LaBresha Hill, Telia Bynum, Kayla Bynum and Shemaiah Bynum, all of Wilson, NC; four great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Barnes (Bobby) of Lucama, NC; one brother, Marvin Bunch, Jr. (Gertrude) of Coney Island, NY; one aunt, Lucille Batts Lane; one uncle, Silas Best of Fremont, NC; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Bynum and Teresa Lee, both of Wilson, NC; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including two nieces that she assisted in rearing, Patrice Farmer and Latasha Bynum.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
