Mr. George Lewis Avery, 65, of Wilson, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Harmony Park at Wilson, Wilson, NC. 

The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.  Elder Nathaniel Thompson will deliver the eulogy.  The burial will follow at Mary Grove Church Cemetery, 6202 Wiggins Mill Road, Lucama, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
