Mrs. Fannie Pearl Walker, 71, of 2103 Longview Drive, Wilson, NC, passed away on June 7, 2018 at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm at L.N. Forbes Tabernacle, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 15, 2018 12:00 - 4:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Pkwy, Wilson, NC.
An Inspirational Wake will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 6:00 pm, L.N. Forbes Tabernacle, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Walker,one son, Kedron Kinte Walker; her parents, James Williams and Dorothy Tyson Williams; one sister, Alice Faye Williams, and her brother, John "Boy Blue" Tyson.
She leaves many loving and cherished memories to: her daughter's, Renee Williams (Antuan, grandson) of Wilson, NC, Keiara Tyson of Wilson, NC, Shelisa Edwards of Wilson, NC, Portia Cosey (Larry) of Wilson, NC, Nadine Buie of Jamaica Queens, NY, Tulcheria Tyson of Wilson, NC, Angela Young of Charlotte, NC, Jewelene Barnes of Raleigh, NC, and Aisha Applewhite of Greenville, NC; her sons Tyrone Williams (Jonnita) of Raleigh, NC, and Lamont Anderson of Wilson, NC; her brother Vernon L. Williams (Wanda) of Charlotte, NC, her sisters Mary Jane Pope of Wilson, NC, Joyce A. Tyson of Wilson, NC, and Shirley A. Taylor (Richard) of Wilson, NC; her uncle Charles Williams (Catherine) of Orangeville, MD; her aunts Mattie Bridgers of Wilson, NC, Camilla Jean Woodard of Wilson, NC, and Rosa Warren of Wilson, NC; her God daughters Jackie Vick of Portsmouth, VA, Mona Hardy of Wilson, NC, Shelia Tyson of Wilson, NC and Patricia Archer of Wilson, NC; her god son, Luke Garnett of Wilson, NC; as well as a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
The family will receive friends at the home where they will assemble on Saturday at 12:00 noon in preparation for the funeral procession.
