Evangelist Bettie Lou Pender, 85, of Farmville, NC peacefully transitioned on Monday, October 14, 2024, at ECU Heath Medical Center, Greenville, NC. With profound gratitude, we honor her remarkable journey.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 am at L N Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop LN Forbes Street, Wilson, NC. Elder Anthony Lewis Pender will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in Thomas Yelverton at Evergreen Memorial Garden, 2704 West Nash Street, Wilson, NC.
A public visitation will also be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 10:00 am until 10:45 am prior to the service at the Church.
She was born to the late, Albert and Almeta Williams. Her legacy shines brighter through her loving family. Though preceded in death by her devoted husband, Wilbert L. Pender Sr., her spirit lives on through three daughters: LaVon Pender-Richmond, Sharon A. Pender George (deceased spouse Michael), Sheila R. Pender Woodward (Eric); and five sons, Wilbert Pender Jr. (Sheri), Donald Pender (Keisha), Anthony Pender (Helen), Jerome Pender (Tara), and JoVon Pender. Her blessed heritage includes 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and countless loved ones.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
