Mother Ethel Mae Hamm, 93, of Elm City, NC transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, January 22, 2026, while surrounded by her loving family at her home.
A celebration of her life and legacy will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, North Carolina. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, North Carolina.
A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home,1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
