Mr. Ernest Leroy Holmes, 77, of 1112 Queen Street, E., Wilson, NC, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, at his home.

The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Stevens Funeral Home, Wilson, NC. The burial will follow in the Kent Family Cemetery, Kenly, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
