Elmer Rasberry

Mr. Elmer Rasberry, 65, of Southern Living Rest Home in Greenville, NC, passed away on June 24, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.  The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  Evangelist Anna Rasberry will officiate.  

Mr. Rasberry was preceded in death by his father, Elmo Artis and one brother, Ricky Rasberry.

He leaves loving memories to:  his mother, Daphne Rasberry of Wilson; two sisters, Betty Rasberry of Wilson and Evangelist Anna Rasberry of Elm City; two brothers, Carlton Rasberry of Washington, DC and James A. Rasberry and his wife, Minister Virginia Rasberry of Wilson, NC; three aunts, Matilda McIntyre of Upper Marlboro, MD, Maggie Rasberry of Wilson, NC and Lettuce Rasberry of Elm City, NC; nine nieces, five nephews, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the residence of his niece, Angela Rasberry Horton at 604 Gray Street, Elm City, NC and will also meet there on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.  The public viewing is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
