Elmarie "Gail" Cox Locus

Ms. Elmarie "Gail" Cox Locus, 71, of 911 Woodard Ave Southeast, Wilson, NC passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Minister Quincy Spell will deliver the message. The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Lane Street, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing is also scheduled for Saturday, July, 11, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., which is one hour prior to the service also at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding her in death were: her parents, Leslie Cox and Victoria Johnson Cox; three sisters and two brothers.

 Left to cherish precious moments are:  her daughter, Brenda Cox of the home; two sons, Bobby Locus (Ann) and Robert Locus (Wanda), both of Wilson, NC; eight grand      children, Tina Cox, Quatreda Cox, Lekeisha Jordan, Marteiz Jordan, Shameka Locus, Quinisha Fleming, Aquone Artis and Brooklyn Fleming; eight great grandchildren, Jamiya Jones, KeShyia Jones, Rayah Jones, Rasha Jones, Jadasia Edwards, Saquan Foxx, Kamiya Powell and KaNahri Fleming; two      sisters, Nancy Evans of Wilson, NC and Barbara Ann Townsend of Brooklyn, NY; one aunt, Katie Wilson of Raleigh; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; two special nieces,  Barbara Bowden of New York and April Wilson of Virginia; three special god-sons, Terelle Wilson, Nathaniel Floyd and Dennis Ellis; three special friends whom were dear to her heart, Cynthia Langston, Josephine Barnes and Jacqueline Hilliard and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
