Ellis "Leon" Parks Obituary

Mr. Ellis "Leon" Parks, 79, of 1405 Poplar Street, Goldsboro, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

The funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church, 395 Jerusalem Church Road, Seven Springs, NC. Pastor Anthony Davis will officiate. The burial will follow in W.G. Broadhurst Memorial Garden, 3377 Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs, NC.

The public visitation will also be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Lenston Whitfield, 306 Pineland Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
