Elder Mary D. Best, 86, of 3011 Kavanaugh Rd., NW, Apt. A, Wilson, NC, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Wilson Rehab and Nursing Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at St. Paul Church of Christ, 4139 Frank Price Church Road, Black Creek, NC. Pastor John Ruffin will deliver the Words of Comfort. Pastor Wiley Reid will preside.  The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

The public walk-through is scheduled from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
