Edward Lee Braswell, Jr.

Mr. Edward Braswell, Jr, 70, of Wilson, NC, passed away on November 17, 2021, at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Stevens Funeral  Home. Pastor Justin Barnes will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will take place in Hamilton Burial Gardens, 1603 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

The public visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home.

Preceding Edward in death were: his father, Edward Lee Braswell, Sr.; one sister, Annie Doris Williams; and one brother, Nathan Howard Braswell.

Left to cherish his memories are: his mother, Evangelist Clara Allene Williams Braswell; four brothers, Bobby Ray Braswell (Bet), Willie Frank Braswell (Brenda) all of Wilson, North Carolina, Roscoe Braswell, and Arthur Lee Braswell both of Elm City, North Carolina; three  sisters, Lillian Mae Ruffin of Elm City, North Carolina, Dianne Braswell Batts (Carolos) and Etta Braswell      Hilliard (Charlie) all of Wilson, North Carolina; three aunts, Jean Bonner of Wilson, North Carolina, Louise Williams of Cary, North Carolina, and Carolyn Bynum of Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including one special friend, Emma Gray Manning.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
