Mr. Edward Glenn Harris, 61, of 5967 Hornes Chapel Church Rd., Wilson, NC, passed away, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at ECU Inpatient Hospice Center, Greenville, NC.
The funeral service is scheduled at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2022 at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC 27893. Pastor Linwood Best will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.
The public visitation is scheduled for Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Stevens funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Charlene Harris, 620 Poe Street, Wilson, NC.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by: his parents, William H. Harris, Sr., and Annie Eva Harris; three brothers, William H. Harris, Jr., James A. Harris and Larry D. Harris; and one sister, Brenda M. Harris.
He leaves many cherished memories to: one daughter, Kayla M. Harris; his twin grandbabies, Jayvin and Camilla Davis; two step-daughters, Courtney Loftin and Shentelle Liven; one sister, Shelby Harris-Barnes; two brothers, Charles M. Harris (Charlene) and Steven L. Harris; three nieces, Briana Harris-Barnes, Angel D. Harris and Taisha Bullock; ten nephews, Barry l. Harris, Gawon Hyman, Zachary J. Harris, Marco Harris, Keith Harris, Ricky Harris, Henry Harris, Michael Knight, Tuggie Ruffin and Stevie J. Harris; one uncle, Norris Brodie; several great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, other loving relatives and many loving friends.
