Ms. Edna Jean Snow, 68, of 230 W Spruce Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. The burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, 1603 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.
A public walk-through is scheduled for Monday, April 12, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Preceding her in death are: the love of her life, her easy going, quiet and humble husband Jerry Lee Snow "Shoeboot"; her parents, Edna Rogers and Samuel Moore Sr.; the village that raised her, grandmother, Annie Cobb Moore "Madea"; grandfather, Carl Moore Sr.; her aunt, Margaret Lee Moore, and uncle, Carl Moore Jr.
Left to cherish Edna's sweet memories are: her two sons, Andre Moore and Daryl Moore (Chaurice); six grandboys, Andre Moore, Jerry Moore, Jacobia Moore, Daryl Moore, DeShawn Moore, all of Wilson, NC and Jalin Bishop of Rocky Mount, NC; six great grandchildren, Ahmaan Moore, Andre Moore Jr., both of Hampton, Virginia, Javaris Moore, Jayceon Moore, Chance Moore, and Xorri Daniels, all of Wilson, NC; sisters, Beverly Rogers-Boyd (William) of Temple Hills, MD, Diane Becton of Suitland, MD, Karen Holmes of Pennsylvania, Sonya Moore of New York and Vanessa Rogers of Tallahassee, FL; one brother, Samuel Moore Jr. of Fort Dix, NJ; sisters- in-law, Brenda Bland, Linda Roundtree, Peggy Jones, and Evon Snow, all of Wilson, NC; brothers-in-law; Earl Prayer of Wilson, NC, Willie Snow (Cathy) of Newbern, NC and Daniel Snow of Raleigh, NC; one aunt, Annie Lou Sherrod of Wilson, NC; also left to cherish her memories are two special people whom she was raised with, Loretta Moore Prayer who was her Sister/Cousin and Best Friend and Michael Moore who was her Brother/Cousin; a special niece, Candice Moore; four special nephews, Bernard Moore, LaTrail Moore, Jasper Moore and Kerry Moore; a special great niece, Serenity Batts "MaMa"; a special great nephew, Sincere Batts; a host of others special relatives and friends.
