Mr. Dyqwhan Ahkeem Bowens, 30, of 709 Kenan  Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Wilson, Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding him in death were: his daughter, Remi Deloris Bowens; his father, Albert Earl Dew, and his grandmother, Deloris Bowens.

Fond and precious memories are left to: his sons, Dyqwhan    Bowens, Jr., Ayden Bowens, Bentley Bowens, and Zachariah McEldowney; his mother,  Sandra Bowens; two sisters, Dazhell Eddie and Niveah Dew; brothers, Donte’ Higgs (Ashlyn), Dahnique Eddie, Deonte Bridgers, Demetrius Dew, Dontairous Dew and King Dew; special friends, Ikeem Cherry, D’Anthony Livingston, and Larrus Jones; aunts, Annie Rountree, Louise Batts, Gwendolyn Swinson, and Tyrone Lavar; a host of many other loving aunts and uncles, cousins, relatives and numerous friends, including a special friend and mother of his children, Jasmine  Barrett.
