Mr. Douglas Ray Smith, 66, of 14540 South Overfield Road, Arizona City, AZ, formerly of Wilson, NC passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Banner Casa Grande Regional Medical Center in Casa Grande, AZ.

The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  Bishop Staccato Powell will officiate, and the burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson NC.  

The public walk-through visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Ruth Smith, 2515 Albany Lane, SW, Wilson, NC where they will also meet on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
