Ms. Doris "Pudden" Sanders 61, of 622 Elvie Street S., Wilson, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Pastor Steven Kent will deliver the word of comfort. The burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, 1603 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, formerly Lane Street Ext, Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through is scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding her in death were: her parents, Ella Bell Sanders and Herman Johnson, Sr.; two brothers, Herman Johnson, Jr. and Tony Johnson and two sisters, Brenda Johnson and Gloria Keels Johnson.

Left to cherish fond memories are: two sons,       Shantonio Sanders (Kristle) and Reginald Sanders, both of Wilson, NC; two daughters, Patricia Sessoms and Charde’e Sessoms, both of Wilson, NC; seven grandchildren, Tyrell, Trenton, Jah’montae, Jah’Quez, Ja’Myah, Zion’tae and   Xavier; one sister, Ophelia Pender Sanders of Wilson, NC; two brothers, Stevie Johnson (Regina) of Orlando, FL and Richard Sanders (Cora) of Philadelphia, PA; two aunts, Ophelia Barnes of Philadelphia, PA and Helen Barnes (George) of Wilson, NC; one uncle, Bruce Johnson of San Diego, CA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Gwen, Mrs. Gardner, Quan and Nikki.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
