Mr. Donald Parks, 59, of 132 Thrasher Circle, Goldsboro, NC, passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center on Thursday, September 26, 2019.
The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 at 12 noon at Jerusalem FWB Church, 395 Jerusalem Church Road, Seven Springs, NC. Elder Anthony Davis will officiate and burial will following in Broadhurst Family Cemetery, Seven Springs, NC. The public visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 1215 Royall Avenue, Goldsboro, NC. The family will meet at the residence on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
Mr. Parks was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert Elijah "Dick" Parks and Rosa Mae Fennell Parks; one daughter, Keisha White; one son, Dameion White; one sister, Mary Jones; and two brothers, Willie "Pap" Fennell and Winston James.
He leaves many loving and cherished memories to: six sons, Quentin D. White of Fayetteville; Dontrail Stukes of Greensboro, NC, Antonio Jones and Brian Omar White, both of Goldsboro, NC, Donald Edward Parks, Jr. (Lakisha) of Dudley, NC and Jaylon Parks of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Ebony Y. Boykin of Wilson, NC; seven brothers, John Earl Parks and Carl Parks (Rose), both of Seven Springs, NC, Dwight Parks (Linnie) of Little Rock, AR, Ronald Parks and Robert Lee Parks, both of Goldsboro, NC, King Parks (Latonia) of Fayetteville and Ellis Parks (Sara) of Knightdale, NC; three sisters, Revelene Hutchins (Pastor W.C.) of Seven Springs, NC, Carla King of Pikeville, NC and Catherine Smith of Boston, MA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Flowers may be sent on Wednesday to McIntyre Funeral Home, 1215 Royall Avenue, Goldsboro, NC.
