Donald Hilliard

Mr. Donald Hilliard, 52, of 1704 Orange Street SE, Wilson, NC, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at his home.

The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.   Dr. Joyce Pullen will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in  Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

The public visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 24, 2021 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents, Isaac Hilliard and Lillie Bell Hopkins Hilliard; two brothers,  Isaac Hilliard, Jr. and McAnthony Hilliard; one sister, Constance Barnes; two nephews, Travis Hilliard and Adrian Hilliard; one niece, Shannon Peterkin; a special friend, Darren Pittman; and a special cousin, Norris Hopkins.

Mr. Hilliard leaves many loving and cherished memories to:  his wife, Teresa Hilliard of the home; one son, William Taylor of Wilson; two daughters, Christy Lucas (friend, James) and Luchrisha Hilliard, both of Wilson, NC; eight grandchildren, ZyQuarious, Atarion, ZyKerion, Jaden, Honesty, Scotlin, MicKenzie and Draya; two sisters, Lorette Hilliard of Newport News, VA and Dr. Joyce Pullen of Wilson, NC; four sisters-in-law, Freda Powell (Terry), Wanda Locus (Robert), Tonchelle Lucas and Doris Hinnant, all of Wilson, NC; one brother-in-law, Ray Lucas of Wilson, NC; three special brothers, Sean Whitehead (Lacie), Andrae Moody (Shannon) and Johnnie Finch; one uncle, Curtis Hopkins of Wilson, NC; one aunt, Mable Barnes of Wilson, NC; on special nephew, Dennis Lucas (Latisha); six special cousins, Jinia (Kelvin), Devon, Junior, Sharon, Kelvin and Curtis and Ocelia (Albert); two special caretakers, Phillip Atkinson and Diane Tucker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including Hud, Paul, Juice, Dennis, Elbert Lee, Connie, A.T., Mac10, Big T, Mike, Whip, Janet, Priscilla, and C.C. Powell (Felicia) and card players whom he played with - Money, Terry, Corey and Eugene.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
