Deacon James Lee Walston, 84, of Elm City, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. 

The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, February 3, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Red Budd Holy Church, 637 Cleveland Street, Rocky Mount, NC, Pastor Roger Tillery will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC. 

A public visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 11:00 am until 11:45 am at Red Budd Holy Church, 637 Cleveland Street, Rocky Mount, NC.
