Obituary
David James, 93, of Seven Springs, NC passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Wayne UNC Hospital, Goldsboro, NC.
A homegoing service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 211 Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC. Interment will follow in East Carolina Veteran's Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC.
A public visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Smith Chapel Church, Mount Olive, NC. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Millie Jean McKiver, 2770 Indian Springs Rd. Sevens Springs, NC and will assemble there on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
