Corey Omar Woodard Obituary

Mr. Corey Omar Woodard, 30, of Wilson, NC, passed away on March 30, 2018.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.

He is preceded in death by: his stepfather, John “Sambo” Baines.

Corey is survived by: his children, Rahzameon Woodard, Kailee Woodard and Kaiden Hart, whom he treated as his own; his mother, Shirleen Hodges; his father, Jesse Coleman; one brother, Travis Hodges; his loving grandparents, Nettie and Jimmy Woodard; five aunts, Carolyn Knight, Barbara Woodard, Brenda Kent, all of Wilson, NC, Nora Woodard of Winston Salem, NC and Linda White (Kirk) of Rocky Mount, NC; one uncle, James Woodard (Celestine) of Rocky Mount, NC; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including a special friend, Keisha Adams.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
