Charlie Finch

Mr. Charlie Finch, 88, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, 1705 Tarboro Street,  Wilson NC.

Funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. The burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Gardens, Lane Street Extention, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing is scheduled for Friday, September 4, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. parkway, Wilson, NC. 

Preceding him in death were: his parents, Solomon Finch and Rosa Finch Jenkins; one daughter, Charleen Finch Huggins; grandson, Tavares Finch; his siblings, Willie Finch, Paul Finch, Pauline Allen, Grace Finch, Queenesta Finch and Juanita Finch Edwards.

Precious and cherished memories are left to: his loving and devoted wife, Mable Holden Finch of the home; four sons, James R. Finch (Phyllis) of Charlotte, NC, Charles Finch (Janet) of   Wilson, NC, Joseph Finch (Amie) of Saratoga, NC and Elander Finch (Miriam) of Durham, NC; three daughters, Delba Edwards (William) and Diana Pender (Harry), both of Wilson, NC and Delois Dale (Kelvin) of Saratoga, NC; five step-children, Danny Edwards (Carolyn) of Virginia, Gregory Edwards of the home, James Thompson (Michelle) of Charlotte, NC, Angela McCormick (Roy) of Wake Forest, NC and Tammy Phelps (James) of Wilson, NC; a special grandson, Marion Huggins; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; special god-children, David and Hosea Jones, both of Walstonburg, NC, Vanessa McCoy and Emma Bullock, both of Wilson, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
