Charles Ray Finch

Mr. Charles Ray Finch, 83, of 2604 Ammons Drive, Wilson, NC, passed away on January 24, 2022, at UNC Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC. Minster Quincy Spell will deliver the Words of Comfort. The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes, Wilson, NC.

The public walk-through visitation is scheduled from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding him in death along with his parents were: four brothers, David Edward Finch, Jr., Rudolph Finch, Robert Finch and Rufus Lee Finch; two sisters, Catherine Robinson and Annie Doris Smith; one aunt, Beatrice Bunch.

Wonderful and cherished memories are left to: one daughter, Katherine J. Bailey; three sons, Michael Taylor, Michael Jones and Calvin Jones; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one brother, Jimmie Dee Finch (Shirley); one aunt, Mattie Clay; several uncles; two goddaughters, Elder Christina Shelly (James) and Tammy Lucas; one daughter-in-law; one son-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins including a special cousin who was raised like a brother, Sammie Bunch; other loving relatives and many friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
