Charles Sharp

Mr. Charles Sharp, 66, of 803 E. Vance  Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on September 12, 2018 at his home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC

A public visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home. 

Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood Blue, Sr. and Lessie Lee Sharp Edwards; six brothers and one sister. 

Mr. Sharp leaves many cherished and loving memories to: eight brothers, David Edwards, Roosevelt Edwards (Doretha), Terry Sharpe, Haywood Blue, Jr. (Shelby) and  Teddie Blue, Sr. (Katrinia) all of  Wilson, NC, Clarence Edwards (Lucille) of Florida, Robert Edwards (Brenda) and George Edwards, both of MA; nine sisters, Pam Anderson of the home, Bunnie Woodard (Chester) and Willie M. Edwards both of Elm City, NC, Shirley Cash, Diane Anderson (Bobby), Reba Cooper (Milton, Sr.) and Corintha Blue all of Wilson, NC, Margaret Edwards and Lucy Speight, both of Virginia; three special friends, Gloria Howell, Rock Newkirk and Chris Pope; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including,  Mary Ann Hooks, who was a very good friend and who helped with Mr. Sharp's caregiving.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
